Morning Preparations
My day at Conway Air Conditioning starts bright and early at 6:30 AM. After grabbing my morning coffee, I review the day’s schedule of preventive maintenance appointments and emergency service calls. Our dispatch team has already organized the routes efficiently to serve our community better.
First Service Calls
By 7:30 AM, I’m on the road in my fully-stocked service vehicle. The morning usually consists of scheduled furnace inspections and routine maintenance. These preventative checks are crucial for catching potential issues before they become major problems, especially as seasons change.
Common Daily Tasks Include:
- Performing thorough system diagnostics
- Cleaning or replacing air filters
- Checking electrical connections
- Inspecting heat exchangers
- Calibrating thermostats
- Testing safety controls
Afternoon Emergency Calls
After lunch, I typically handle emergency service calls. Whether it’s a malfunctioning heater in winter or a failing AC unit in summer, our team prioritizes urgent situations to ensure our customers stay comfortable year-round.
Customer Education
One of the most rewarding parts of my job is educating homeowners about their HVAC systems. I take time to explain maintenance requirements, energy-saving tips, and warning signs they should watch for. This helps prevent future issues and builds trust with our clients.
End of Day
Before heading back to the shop, I complete detailed service reports and prepare for the next day. Our commitment to quality service means thoroughly documenting all work performed and maintaining clear communication with our customers.
Working at Conway Air Conditioning isn’t just about fixing heating and cooling systems – it’s about ensuring our community’s comfort and safety through professional service and expertise.
